When I met my wonderful husband, he gifted me some of his mother’s handmade soap. I have always loved handcrafted soap and her soap amazed me! It was the best handmade soap I had ever had – long lasting and fragrant and it made my sensitive skin feel soft and so good! When we married and returned to his childhood home here in Appalachia Virginia, she taught me to make this soap she had been making for over thirty years.
Everyone in the family was raised on this soap and now I have been making it for eight years. I am a professional member of the Handcrafted Soaps and Cosmetics Guild. All of my fragrances are phthalate free, include essential oils and many feature biodegradable enviroglitter, which is made either of Eucalyptus fiber or minerals. I use the highest qualities blends and create every batch with an eye for artistry.
